I don’t want to be morally good but deny the very power of God. Having a form of holiness or religion but no power (that is evident) denying the very essence of what it is to be a Christain. I don’t want to stand in a hospital room and pray a nice p…

A post I put on facebook after reading some stuff by C.T. Studd and other great Missionarys

Pastor John got me interested in C.T Studd with his statement about the DCD club. So I started looking up some saying of C. T and the life he lead. Which lead me to more great missionarys and their passion for the lost. So I wrote a post and put it on Facebook. I wanted to share it with you all as well.

Some wish to live within the sound
Of Church or Chapel Bell.
I want to run a rescue shop
Within a yard of Hell

These words by C. T. Studd have seared my soul. I have always wanted to impact the… Continue

One of my favorite songs

To the cross I look.
To the cross I cling.
Of its suffering I do drink.
Of its work I do sing.
On it my Savior,
both bruised and crushed,
showed that God is love,
and God is just.

Chorus:
At the cross You,
beckon me,
draw me gently,
to my knees and I am,
lost for words so,
lost in love I'm,
sweetly broken, Holy surrender!

What a priceless gift:
undeserved life
have I been given
through Christ crucified.
You've called me out of death.
You've called me into life.
And I was under Your wrath,
now… Continue

The Takers (from a book I am working on ) Let me know what you think

The takers

They say that in one generation you can change the world for the good or for the bad. The world war 2 generation was know as the greatest generation because of the sacrifice and honor they had. One of the greatest joys in my life was meeting some of the men that were in World War 2. It was a privilege to have a Grandfather who fought in the Great War. I remember recently looking into the eyes of a veteran of that war and telling him thank you. We discussed the differences between my… Continue

Recession, What Recession?

Right now I live in MI (for at least two more months) The economy's bad, people are crying. Last weekend I had my homeshow. A lot of the venders were talking about people just looking and not getting leads. Well that is not what happened to me. My team from home depot and I crushed our record from last year getting over 100 leads. I think the last count was 133. Last year I got 86 from the home show and sold $64,000. This year my goal was 100 leads and $100,000 thousand in sales from it. Where m… Continue
