James that is awesome. You acted in faith to fast and get closer to God and he opens a door for you that you were not expecting. God is amazing

I thank God that He is far greater than anything I can understand. His incomparable greatness is so far beyond what I can know that it is a treasure of the mind and spirit to experience such an awesome God. I have struggled with speaking in tongues for some time, but actually have not invested much time lately in that pursuit because it did not ever go anywhere. It was like trying to open a locked door. However, over this time of fasting God made it clear to me that this was something I needed to face and deal with. On Sunday night, I spoke in tongues for the first time in my life. I know that may be strange to some, but there it is. It was like going up to a door where the key is already in the lock, but the door is still closed. For whatever reason, I was able to turn the key and open the door. It was truly a spiritually liberating experience (that is my way of saying “It was freakin’ awesome!!!).
I wasn’t fasting for this, and yet here it is. Instead of me coming to God, He came to me. I am so thankful that my God is beyond time, beyond space, beyond measure, and beyond all knowledge and understanding!

Andrea, there are no words to express how excited I am for you! You know how I excited for you I was when I found out about your school and now I am like a billion more times excited. Thanks for sharing it is a good reminder that God is with us and will always provide!!! Praise God!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So when I said this was just the begining I guess I was prophesying. . . . :) Surely the Lord is good and He is faithful! He will never leave me nor forsake me! He is the God who sees me. I am not sure whether to laugh histarically or bawl my eyes out right now - but I must testify to the goodness of God - because this is what just happened... when I left church tonight, I found an envelope with my name on it. When I opened it up there was a typed letter that read, "Don't you know that I will provide for you! Love, Your Heavenly Father". Inside the letter was a SIGNIFICANT amount of cash! I cannot begin to express in words what that did for me - besides put food in my belly, gas in my car, pay my bills and rent this month and perhaps some ballet classes that I've been wanting to take but couldn't afford - more than that it let me know that God is aware of me and my need and that He hears me when I cry; that He has bottled every tear and that He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, beyond all that I could ask think or imagine. I don't know who participated in hearing from heaven and allowing God to use you to bless me, but I want to thank you for not only meeting a temporal need - but more than that for allowing God to use you to remind me that He is near to me. I could live a few days without food - but I could not live one moment without knowing that He is with me. So thank you, for reminding me of that. There is so much more to what this means to me - but....let's just suffice to say that I am in total awe and completely humbled by how the Lord is making Himself real to me. Praise the Lord. I am indebted forever to the Love of my Saviour!

Hi family :) I just wanted to share with you the beginning of a supernatural breakthrough that is ALREADY taking place in the area of my finances. This is something that I have been praying/fasting for as I believe for God's provision in my life. As most of you know, I am a student at TCU in Fort Worth. When I began school on Monday I owed approximately $3,000.00 for the semester. I went and spoke to an aid advisor who noticed that I was actually eligible for additional grant money that I had not been aware of - which means it is money that I do not have to pay back! By Wednesday, the day we began our fast, my bill went from $3,000.00 to $42!!!!!! Praise the Lord! I believe this is only the beginning :) Be encouraged Church - God is in our midst and He is good!
