I just wanted everyone to know that Pastor Orlando has challenged me to a game of basketball. Now I know what you are thinking - my chances are not very good. But think about it, no one ever considers the little guy. Did they underestimate Shaq or Kareem? Of course not. It is always the little bald guy with glasses. I have no doubt it will be challenging, but I am fully confidence that "O" will get rejected many a time by unexpected moves.
Below are a couple of pics that demonstrate what this dual might look like!! Ya gotta love it!

Selah, James... Selah...
You have got to be kidding me?! You are pulling out God’s Holy inerrant Word and beating me with it? Ya know, trouble seems to find me even though I rarely am looking for it. OK, let’s recap. Mr. Basketball challenged me. Here I was coming home from work, just like I normally do, and after 10 minutes at the house, guess who shows up. That’s right, trouble. Mr. Basketball shows up at the house and challenges me to a game with the audience of my son. He pokes, he jokes, and all the while taunting me about how he will beat me at my own house. So, what was my response – better yet, what would yours have been?
Like any natural born man, I picked up my basketball stick and beat the offender with it. Would you expect anything less? And now that I am victorious and claiming what it right and true, you beat me with your Bible? Com’on now, who is playing who? Was it the sports psychology or the comment about winners, or is it much more sinister than that? Could it be that the little guy is getting to you. Maybe you can’t stand for atypical athleticism to win. Hmmm . . . I wonder.
Well, everyone always has their chance and you have yours as well. I am always open to play and demonstrate what I have stated. Remember, I posted about the challenge before I beat Mr. Basketball. Nothing hidden here. So, I challenge you, o mighty Cameron – can you take the little guy (ya know the one who is short, has glasses, and “apparently” no athletic ability at all)!
Am I getting to you? Am I getting to you? Am I getting to you?

ok, I guess that means Cameron will not rise to the challenge! Never fear, Mr. Basketball has laid out another challenge. I think I am getting to him. He has challenged me to another game - this time at the Church with cameras. So, I am thinking this really is a bad move on his part. Think about it, all that can happen is that he wins (highly unlikely), which will mean we are tied 1 to 1. On the other hand (this is really important so pay attention), what if I win again. Well, that is just ugly to even think about. I was happy to just let things lie, but Mr. Basketball just couldn't take it.
So bring on the cameras, the heckling, and anything else you got, because I will again rise to the challenge. This is the second time I have been challenged by Mr. Basketball, and I sincerely hope that when I slam dunk him again that it will silence once and for all the "little guy" stereotypes that he continues to fuel!
