Our Youth <3
I just wan't to aplaud & give thanks to our youth...
I have always felt that we have really great romodels in our Youth here at CLC, but it wasn't until yesterday that i realized how AMAZING every single one of them are. Not only do they help out and volunteer more than a portion of adults at our church but they volunteer with smiles on their faces and they are always more than willing to help! I just want to say thank you to all of you for being such amazing, selfless, mature young adults! You are all more mature than most adults I know including myself! lol.
I am sure i can speak for most parents when i say I am thankful to have you all as romodels for our kids.. I can tell you guys are the start of a new christ-loving generation! And this is something you should all be so proud of yourselves for... knowing you will have hundreds of kids that you will help lead to Christ and looking up to you and wanting to be like you!
Our kids are going to know HOW there lifestyle should be as teens- and we all know this age group is the most difficult to remain selfless, mature, faithful and pure in Gods eyes... but i just see that in all of you. It is really amazing... esp. since some of you have parents who do not even attend our church... and for the ones that do, i call you & your parents blessed!!!!
Of course i think everyone at our church goes above and beyond and loves God as well, and i personally thank our whole church family for what they are doing- its just not often when you see Teens living the same life- passionately :)
Like i said i just wanted to give a "shout out" to you guys and let you know how much you are all appreciated and valued! And even though i am a bit older than you all, i admire you and please dont ever stop loving God passionately!! I promise you will not regret how you are living and giving and I KNOW he is going bless every single one of you!

Very true. Our youth don't realize it, but it really is amazing what is happening here. Many youth groups are filled with superficial people that don't really care about the things of God, yet we see it lived out in their hearts and lives every week with their serving, their words, and even simply the way they take notes. It's amazing to watch young men and women be so passionate about doctrine.... DOCTRINE... Youth groups purposefully make their youth services on wednesday nights because they can't keep the kids awake during the wednesday night adult services, but you guys have said on numerous occasions that you don't want it on Wednesday night. LOL What's happening with you all is something truly amazing that no man can take credit for.

You guys are too awesome. But for real, it helps when you were raised by some super awesome leaders who give you plenty of opportunities to grow! :) Its really cool to be apart of a church that literally goes out of their way to help you change and grow. I love being apart of a church who values leadership...
You guys have discipled us and basically recreated our ways and thoughts of leadership. We have been shown the importance of good leadership. You guys have been a TON of help in our growth these past years. And you guys are totally right, God is doing an amazing thing in our group, no doubt. Our group is so unique, so genuine, so stinkin awesome. :D I wouldn't want to be anywhere else, with any other people, doing anything else.
